I have never been so happy so have gone to the doctor! I started coughing early last week
and felt like crap since. Its an all day nasty cough. I tried to make an appointment with our urgent
care and was told "No" because I was pregnant. So I spoke with the OB nurse and she said it was just allergies. She told me to try Musinex. That did not work for me. So finally yesterday the OB nurse
agreed I needed to go to urgent care. She made the appointment for me so I wouldn't be told "No".
Thanks to Dr. D. I am already feeling better. He gave me my very first inhaler and also a perscription.
Who know an inhaler could be so magical. I could breathe lastnight when I went to bed!
My asthma gets rough during pregnancy too. Also allergies. I took Singulair with my firstborn when things got really bad. it definitely helped! Glad you feel better :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy that they wouldn't let you go to urgent care being pregnant...I know for certain I have gone when I was pregnant. So glad you are feeling better!!
