The kids have been on chicken duty for a good week now.
We have one more week to go.
Chicken duty?? Yes, chicken duty!!
We do live in town but can have up to 4 chickens. No roosters.
Our neighbors got 4 chickens this past spring.
That was when they were very tiny and cute.
The kids would go over and hold them.
While the neighbors are off visiting family in another state
the kids are on chicken duty!
They love love love it!
To the point I think they want their own chickens!
The neighbors have a really nice coop made for them.
They even run around the yard.
3 of the 4 chickens. Other one must have been hiding.
The neighbors are hoping to start getting eggs this fall.
**EDIT** The 4th chicken is under the hen house!
