~Way to go Danny~

I have some exciting news!

No we are not pregnant again.

We have just the right number of children for our family!

The exciting news is Danny got a new position at work!

And a big 75 cent raise.

(I guess any raise now days is good).

Danny has been at his current job for a long time,

14 years to be exact.

When you start out at the company you have to work 2-10pm or 10pm-6am.

It takes along time before they let you work the day shift, 6am-2pm.

When I met Danny he worked 2-10pm. Which kind of sucked

because I worked 9-5:30pm. Then some nights from 6-11pm.

(Don't miss the days of 2 jobs).

Anyways, when he got picked to move to the day shift about 6 years ago

he gave up not only his position of Lead Man but also some of his hourly wage.

Well I am excited to tell you that 17 guys applied for the New Lead Man position.

Those guys were reviewed and 7 of them were given a written test.

Out of those 7 only 3 of them were still in the running

so they got a face to face interview.

Then last week on Wednesday Danny got the news he got the job!

Thankfully its almost the same hours. He now works 5:45am-2pm!

I love love love that he is off work at 2pm.

It works great when the kids need to go to the doctor or dentist.

It also works out nice right that he can pick up the girls from school

on his way home.
